| Meet Susie Lynn Trumps. Born in Upstate New York on 1-19-1960, she is a living miracle. A walking testimony to the power of God. She has triumphed over the challenges of 17 years of physical, verbal and mental abuse by a man that was supposed to be her father. She knows about the struggle of alcoholism, depression, anxiety, fear, divorce, rejection, abandonment and loss. In 2002 she sat with a counselor named Fran and openly shared all she had been through. She became ill from the pain and it tormented her for months. But she found healing in God's Word. Reading through the book of Psalms she came to Psalm 150:3 (NIV) Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet... That was June 28, 2002. That night God spoke to Susie and told her to "trump" and teach His Word. Susie can only hear in one ear. Still God gave her the gift of music and she learned to play the trumpet. She plays to CDs and teaches. The abuse she had been through should have made her mentally ill. But God has brought her from the darkness into His light and today she presents His Word effectively, powerfully and openly to many. Susie has a heart after God's own heart. In 2004 she learned to tap dance too. She loves to "tap, trump and preach" God's Word. With her energetic personality trumpet teaching, Susie makes a wonderful Christian speaker.
